Travel is broken!

Travel is broken.

What does that mean?

Well simply this, airlines have gone bust, others have had massive loans to keep them afloat.

Many carriers have drastically cut back on their flying, their routes and staff which, means that they are in no position to resume normality, if that were an option.

Everyone in the travel industry are making losses and some have and some will go out of business and recovery is not expected until 2023-24.

In practical terms this means fewer flights, higher prices, where there were connections, these may have gone, where there was through baggage now there isn’t. Covid-19 has taken travel back many, many years!
