Airline Safety

There have been a number of dramatic air travel incidents in recent weeks and the nature of these events have once again raised the questions about the safety of air travel, and how it compares to other forms of transit.

It has been a very sad week for everyone involved with aviation and many people will, justifiably, be asking questions about air travel safety.

Our deepest sympathy goes to all those who have lost their lives in these recent tragedies. And the company’s thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones.

Overall, passenger transportation incidents account for about 4 out of 10 unintentional injury-related deaths and with three tragedies in such quick succession, you may think travelling by airplane is inherently more dangerous than driving, taking the bus or hopping on a train. However, statistically, travelling by airplane, remains the safest way to get from one point to another.

We would just like to reassure our customers that the number one priority for any airline carrier is safety. And despite the events of the past seven days, flying is safe.
