✈️ Flight Resumptions & Rescue Operations – Jamaica Post Hurricane Melissa
Following Hurricane Melissa’s impact, Jamaica’s airports are gradually reopening, and airlines are resuming services:

🇯🇲 Airport Status

• Kingston (KIN): Fully operational as of October 30, handling both commercial and emergency flights.
• Montego Bay (MBJ): Reopened for limited operations on October 31, with several gates still under repair.

🛫 Flight Resumptions

British Airways has resumed flights to Kingston (KIN) from London Gatwick, with regular service expected from October 31 onward.
Virgin Atlantic is preparing to resume flights to Montego Bay (MBJ), with the next scheduled commercial flight expected soon.

🚨 Virgin Atlantic Rescue Flight – November 01

Virgin Atlantic is operating a rescue flight from Kingston (KIN) to London Heathrow on November 01 to assist stranded passengers. Priority is being given to customers whose flights were cancelled between October 25–31.
