– The scammers answer the phone claiming to be Caribbee, even going so far as to say specific agents are “off today” if asked for by name.

– They then ask for your flight details, which they use to access your booking via the airline’s website. This allows them to repeat your travel information back to you, making it seem like they are legitimate.

– Once trust is gained, they request payment details, often insisting on bank transfers or debit card payments — methods that offer little to no protection or recourse.

– After taking payment, they block your number, leaving you unable to contact them again.
