What your cruising Itinerary may look like

Cruise itineraries are endless so there’s plenty for you to choose from. Will it be a short getaway? A week? Or perhaps 20 days or more in paradise?

Whatever you choose, the sun-kissed shores of the Caribbean are calling. Here’s a look at what an Eastern Caribbean Cruise itinerary could look like.

Cruises make for great vacations; everything is taken care of for you, and you just need to show up for dinner.

Voyages depart from the region’s major ports in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Travelers can choose cruises that represent all budget ranges, from “cheap cheap cheap” to ultra-luxury or moderate in between.

The Eastern Caribbean itinerary generally encompasses the British and American Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and two-nation-one-island St. Maarten and St. Martin. It also includes the Bahamas which is not “officially” part of the Caribbean and the Grand Turk in Turks & Caicos.

All these ports-of-call are among the Caribbean’s most developed for tourists and provide plenty of well organised activities from duty-free shopping to water sports and tours of historic sites. A cruise here has something for everyone.
