Quarantine coming home

Many people are both confused and oblivious of the restrictions returning to the UK, here is some guidance.

Everyone arriving in the UK needs a Covid-19 test to arrive in the UK, it is not said whether a PCR test is required so we assume an antigen test might suffice, antigen tests are cheaper, however you must have the results certified.

Guyana
The red list countries (for our clients only Guyana is affected).
Those returning back from Guyana have to quarantine in a hotel which must be booked through the government website for a period of 10 days and pay £1750 for the pleasure. USA, Canada & Caribbean
Those arriving from these countries will need quarantine at home for 10 days, when filling in the UK passenger locator from prior to arrival in the UK, that form has a link where you also have to book your UK test package, this is a self-administered test on days 2 and 8 after arrival and cost £210 each. You may be denied boarding if you did not book your test package!
