Electronic items on flights.

Have you often wondered when asked to switch off your electrical items on a flight if in fact it did interfere with the flight navigation system. It seems that they don’t according to European saftey regulators.

Airline passengers will be able to use their smartphones, tablet computers, MP3 players and e-readers throughout their flights after a ruling by European safety regulators that the technology is safe during take-offs and landings. The European Aviation Safety Agency announced it will publish guidelines to carriers allowing passengers to use electronic devices during all phases of a flight.

The question remaining is will we have to pay for airtime or wifi access?
